Part 1: Summary        This is a confession of a girl who grows up from the experience of being a gang.     The reason why the narrator was involved in the gang is because of her lover, Martin. Martin came from a broken family lacking of love. Thus, he quit school and joined the gang. On the contrary, the girl was from a good family in which provided her with care. It might be the bad-boy image that attracted the girl. The girl, in some way, wanted to get out of the "good" student's life; therefore, she kind of envied the carefree way Martin led.
