    Bonjour!!! Hello everyone, how is everything going recently? Everything fine? Well, wish you good luck every day and I hope you can get some inspirations through reading my blog but firstly I am going to introduce myself to whoever pays a visit to my blog so that you can have a basic idea of me and here we go:   

    I am Amanda, a sophomore student who is now majoring in English Literature and also minoring in business management in Soochow University. Since I was little, I have always had passion for learning languages and that is one of the primary reasons I choose English Literature as my profession in college. As time passed by, I gradually find that to proficient in a language is really important. Being a master in English is thus a must, a necessity, not an option. Besides having a good grasp of one foreign language, I am now learning French as my second foreign language. I hope when I graduate from college, I could be an expert in both English and French. Basically, this is the brief introduction of my educational background. When it comes to the blueprint of my future ideal career, an interpreter would be my priority although it takes a great deal of time and efforts to be a professional one. Interpreting is a challenging and tough job; however, I am willing to give myself a try and in that way, I can utilize my expertise in language in this field and make the best use of it.  

    As for my growing background, luckily, I have a warm and supportive family. My home is always the shelter at which I can rest assured and receive love and care. My family consists of four members, including my brother, my mom, my dad and me. My brother is only a year younger than me so I can always share my ideas with him without any gap. He not only plays the role of my brother but also a friend who will always stand by me and I appreciate that a lot. My parents, to me, they are the most wonderful ones in the world. I could tell them everything without worries of being laughed or whatever. They support every decision I make and give me the opportunities to study abroad in order to be open-minded. Frankly and sincerely speaking, my families are the most pivotal anchors in my life ever forever.

    My parents supported me to join the study tour when I was in senior high school. The study tour to Calgary, Canada  has drastically changed my point of views about the entire world and undoubtedly, broadens my horizons. From the tour, I garner a bunch of precious memories and experiences. Since then, I have made up my mind that I will travel to as many countries as possible in my lifetime. Three years after the tour to Canada, I fortunately got another chance to travel abroad. Away from the hustling and bustling city life in Taipei, Taiwan, in the very beginning of my sophomore-to-become summer vacation in 2012, I embarked on a terrific voyage with my three friends to Australia. In the duration of the month of a backpacker's life, I tried and experienced many new things I never did before. 
    
    I cherish the time when I was in Canada and Australia. The days might seem to be a short period, yet, they are extremely significant to me, within and without. I love traveling. Travel reduces my pressure in reality and elevates the spirit to a certain degree, which nourishes me to grow more mature, independent and of course, stronger. Moreover, it provides me with totally different perspectives towards life.
