What is the most important skill that a person should learn in the 21st century? (Revised one)

    In the twenty-first century, a highly developed era, human beings of all ages are getting used to modern electronic products owing to the huge process in technology. People rely so much on it. Frankly speaking, we cannot live without technology.

 
    Browsing over streets, we could easily find that almost all the passersby are utilizing the so-called technological products such as smartphone, iPad, iPhone, to name a few. To those people who check their screen every few minutes, they are thus given the name: "smartphone addicts" and from which arises a serious issue that people have to heed on today--- the lack of interaction between every single person. It is quite convenient to communicate with others through those advanced products, a click or a message could reach the person as soon as possible, yet the bond between people has been weakened since the availability of those equipment used for communication has improved.

    In the early days, without so many new devices that were invented to communicate with others, people kept in touch with each other face-to-face frequently. They cared about neighbors and offered help when somebody was in difficulty. Communities based on love and sincerity could be seen everywhere in the old times. Community like a clanish family is an example. Thanks to the inconvenience of communication, relationships formed among families, friends and neighbors in the past were more solid and faithful compared to the more superficial ones in modern times .

    Today, the situation has changed. We lead a convenient life with high-tech products, while on the opposite perspective, the original essence of building up a relationship is missing. That is to say, as time goes by, people are getting much more indifferent and egocentric, barely have time to "spare" some to care about people around ourselves. Busy life and technology constitute our daily life. Meanwhile, we overlook the pivotal interpersonal significance hidden within. We diverge ourselves from the truest and naked interaction between every person via the way we contact one another nowadays. People tend to disguise rather than presenting the truest sides when it comes to face-to-face contact. The lack of ability to make a well-acquaintance to other people sincerely has been a sociocultural issue we human have to take it seriously.  

    As a consequence, the most important skill a person should learn in the 21st century in my opinion is to garner every possible opportunity to contact the person we want to catch up with face-to-face, in order to get a better understanding of the counterpart and further establish a close relationship from which, instead of having a chitchat on social network through the screen of smartphones, which indirectly eliminates the real meaning that lies behind interpersonal communication.
