　 When it comes to the essence of life, love will undoubtedly be my first answer. Life is based on love. Without love, we would not lead a worthy and wonderful life. The question is what are the propellers that infuse love inside us? For me, I categorize three major features that will bring about this essence--- love your friends, love your family and love yourself.     Firstly, friends are indispensable in every phase of life.  We make different friends and the ones who will always stand by our side when we are in need are the real precious friends. As the saying goes, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” Maintaining a well relationship with friends is necessary. They share our joyful and sorrowful moments.     Away from the hustling and bustling urban city life in Taipei city, this summer,  as a backpacker,  I traveled  to  Australia  with my friends. During our journey, we paid visits to major cities along the eastern coast of  Australia ---  Brisbane , Gold Coast,  Melbourne  and  Sydney .      Each city has its extraordinary features and attractions so it is without a doubt that memories for each city are precious to me: Brisbane is a city with carefree ambiance. Residents there lead a slow pace of life. I admire them a lot because they know how to live life to the fullest and they are able to be in the moment to enjoy their life; Gold Coast is a remarkable resort and getaway for both Aussies and travelers. 1.       Barbecue means more than just having a delicious feast. 2.       Night life in Taipei is extremely lively, compared to that in the western cities. 3.       Learning tools such as dictionary and map provide us with not only the basic idea from the surface but the knowledge of the entire universe. 4.       Snack food and junk food are two different things. 5.       It is a pity and waste of time to be frenzied about the fad. 6.       There are different opinions towards dressing codes like uniform.

The reason I like this song is because it reflects my bare true feeling recently. My wounded soul would get soothed after I listen to it. Sometimes I will step back and tell myself life is not as hard as I think. The way the thing develops depends how I look at it and how I try to solve the problem. I always tell myself with more efforts, I can make it. Do not look back and move forward.                 After seeing the movie named 'The Last Days" in a class yesterday, it again strikes a chord in my mind.      This is the second time I saw this documentary. Last time , three years ago or so,  I saw it with a casual attitude. Nevertheless, this time, as a college student, this movie is no more a movie itself, it is a reflection, which gives me the chance to think critically about many issues that happened in my life.     The movie took place in World War  II. In the duration of the war, Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi government, tortured the Jewish people with cruelty.     In this highly developed era, people are getting used to modern technology. Browsing over the street, we could easily find that almost nine out of ten of the passersby are utilizing the so-called technological products such as Smartphones and Ipads. Although it is quite convenient to communicate with others through those products, merely a click then all is done, there is an important issue arising from which and that is the lack of face-to face contact. In the early days, without so many new devices that were invented to communicate with others, people kept in touch with each other frequently due to the inconvenience.
